Today we were visited by Simon and his wife, Mary, who volunteer for the local charity, Devon Air Ambulace. Simon talked to us about how a helicopter flies, what a paramedic does and how long it takes a helicopter to fly from Sidmouth beach to Exeter hospital. After he left many of the children explored aspects of what they had learnt in their play.
