Schoolcomms Online Payments

 

We use the Schoolcomms payment system, enabling parents to pay for trips and meals online by bank transfer or card. You can log into your Schoolcomms account at any time to see your balances and any new payment requests that have been raised and keep track of your payments.

 

We will only accept payments made online and will not accept cash or cheques except in exceptional circumstances where no bank card is held. In this case, please talk to the school office.

 

  • School trips will be notified to you by email in advance and you can add these to your shopping basket ready for payment.
  • School Dinner balances can be topped up, similar to a Pay-as-you-go mobile phone. If your child has a meal then £2.30 is deducted from your balance and when your balance gets low a reminder is sent for you to top-up your account. [The minimum amount for each payment for this is £11.50]
  • BASC [Breakfast & After School Club] Permanent sessions will be loaded on to your account at the beginning of each half term. Any additional or temporary sessions will be charged weekly and any payments due will show in your account.

 

Non-uniform day collections and other charity collections/sponsor money will be collected in cash.

 

To activate your account, all you need are your email address and mobile phone number that school holds on record for you. Visit www.schoolgateway.com and click on ‘New User’. You will receive a text message with a PIN number. Use this PIN to log into School Gateway.

 

Once you have logged in to School Gateway for the first time, please set up a mandate for Instant Bank Transfer – you will need to input your bank account number and sort code. This information will then be stored for all future payments. [If you select the ‘pay by card’ option, you will need to put your card details in for every payment made].

Alternatively you can download the app. If you have a smartphone, please download School Gateway from your app store (Android and iPhone). Please use the Instant Bank Transfer method or you will need to type your card details in every time you make a payment and you will only be able to pay for one child at a time.
