Children In Need 2026 at HPS! It’s that time of year again! As always, we at HPS understand the importance of supporting a charity that strives to meet the needs of children and young adults living in the UK, less fortunate than us. Now, more than ever, we are thinking about our local and wider community and how we can all make a difference. We have a long and proud tradition at HPS of making CIN a really fun and special day at school. As our community continues to battle through challenging times, this day will allow children, parents and staff to have some well-earned fun, bringing smiles to everybody’s faces! So, how are we going to have fun this year in support of a good cause?! …  BBC Children in Need’s 2026 campaign, ‘Time to Thrive!’ encourages children to reach out for support when needed.  On Friday 13th November our school theme shall be, ‘Spotacular!’ We would like to invite all the children to come to school dressed in non-school uniform. There is a twist, however…your outfit must include something yellow, spotty or even better, BOTH!! Be as creative as you wish! [A voluntary donation of 50p will go towards supporting Children In Need. There will be buckets at the school gates, and you can also give your donations to your child’s class teacher.] At HPS we have a history of being enthusiastic, creative and playful for Children In Need. So, let's shine in yellow and get spotty whilst having a fun-filled Friday at school, to show support for the children and young adults in the South West and UK less fortunate than ourselves.
