It may be a lot quieter in school at the moment but that doesn't mean the children in Year 1 have been any less busy with their learning. This week, similarly to those completing remote learning, we have enjoyed exploring making numbers up to 50 using dienes in Maths, learning a story map sequence using actions in English, keeping fit with Joe Wicks, showing off dance moves during gonoodles as well as challenging each other to see who can write the most tricky words in two minutes. I'm so proud of the resilience shown and positive attitudes towards learning this week despite the slight changes in our routines so well done Year 1!
