This week in Nursery the children have been busy singing nursery rhymes, reading stories, baking cakes and mark-making. We love singing nursery rhymes and do so all thoughout the day in Nursery, as well as repeating our weekly 'focus' nursery rhyme daily. Singing nursery rhymes helps to develop children's language and communication skills. It also introduces them to different sounds in the environment as well as providing them with the beginning foundations in helping young children to read and write.
