Yr2 Dental Visitors 9.5.23

Last Tuesday Year 2 were visited by Dentist Dr Smitha Walsh and Dental Nurse Tara. We found out about different aspects of oral health: mixed dentition, healthy/damaging food for our teeth, decay & cavities, the art of brushing teeth and what happens when you visit the dentist. Dr Walsh also shared what technology is used in dentistry and the skills you need to become a dentist. The visit enhanced our learning in Science and PSHE. Thank you to Bupa Dental Care for the workbooks and toothbrushes we took home.
