This week in Year 5, we have been exploring the planets in our solar system, and learning to remember the order by practising rhymes and acting out the orbit of the planets around our sun in the playground. We learnt that Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are rocky planets, and Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are gas giants.
