As part of our computing in Year 1, we introduce coding with the words algorithm and debugging. We learnt that an algorithm is a sequence of instructions and we learnt how specific and accurate you have to be by directing our teachers how to make a jam sandwich. We made some mistakes which are called bugs and we learnt how to debug by correcting our mistake. Can you create an algorithm (instructions) for something at home? Next week, we will be developing this further using BeeBots.
