Today in Year 4, we enjoyed working on our observation skills in art, as we drew and re-drew lime trees and cedar trees, their flowers and fruit. Inspired by Austin's Butterfly, a video demonstrating a young child's resilience  when drawing a butterfly and acting on peer feedback, we made 4 attempts to improve the drawing, following very specific feedback from our friends. Here are the results.

Tomorrow, we shall be learning more about the habitat, growing patterns and impact on the environment of these important trees, after which our classes have been named.
