Some people see colouring as pointless activity. We see it as an engaging way to develop many skills that become the foundation for future learning as the children get older. This young man is developing his concentration, working on his pen grip and control and exploring a character from a traditional tale. He also took immense pride in his work when he had finished thus boosting his self-esteem.
