Dear All,

Just a quick jot to remind you to keep you and yours safe tonight, if involving yourself with fireworks and bonfires.  Obviously, Guy Fawkes famously tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament yet ended up losing his head to the axe and having it stuck on a spike on public display.

Hopefully, by reading this quick advice, you won't blow yourself up or worse like him!

Do really consider your safety and the safety of others on "Remember, remember the 5th of November!" - We want to see excited children in on Monday with tales of colour, light, times spent with families and happy memories - not trips to Accident and Emergency with burns and singed eyebrows.

Have fun and enjoy the evening but do stay safe everyone.
