Handwriting, homophones and sentences started the week for this absorbed, hard working Year 5, whilst in Maths, times tables were his favourites with challenge grids, TT Rockstars and White Rose maths online. 👏🏻

'Scream Machine' has inspired his learning too; investigating things that role, spin, slide and swing, but the most exciting activity was the centripetal force 'bucket challenge' - the whole family were relieved when the skills were finally mastered!

VE Day was also celebrated with decorative bunting, a delicious trifle and home-made turkey schnitzels. Yummy! 🇬🇧
