Moon buggies - Year 1

This week, we have been exploring vehicles that transport things on Earth. We looked at what they all had in common and what changed depending on their purpose. Using this knowledge, we then designed a moon buggy that would transport astronauts and their equipment on the moon. We had to think very carefully about what features we should include and what materials we would need to use to build it.

Next week, we will be building our moon buggies and then testing them. If you have any cardboard or plastic containers in your recycling that would be good to use for our moon buggies, please do send them into school on Monday. Thank you!
