Today, we were playing and learning during the afternoon, minding our own business, when suddenly a hail storm passed over our Reception space. Cue everybody dashing for the door and experiencing a crazy five minutes of intense learning! What is hail?, what is hail made of?, what does hail taste like?!, can you catch hail in your hands?, can you count pieces of hail?, why does hail hurt when it hits you on the face?, can you make a hail ball?, why does it hail and not rain? The Reception Team were literally bombarded with questions. It was an amazing experience.
