National Thank A Teacher Day - Tomorrow

 

Dear All,

 

Tomorrow is the day where the nation can thank the people working in education for all they do and all they have done. This seems particularly telling in these recent times.

 

Teachers, cooks and cleaners, the office staff, teaching assistants and caretakers all pulling together to keep school open, clean warm and watered!!!

 

Please let the children dress brightly to celebrate these everyday heroes and wear their own clothes to show their appreciation.

 

Additionally, please remember to donate what you can towards the Defibrillator we are trying to secure for the school. Already, people are starting to emerge who may be able to help in various ways but what we really need is for people to dig deep and make our dream come true.  A defibrillator for us and the local community to access when needed.

 

Many thanks in advance for all you do too. My proudest accomplishment thus far, as your headteacher, has been building back the bridges of a school community - the school working hand-in-hand with our families for the good of all Honiton children.
