As you are aware we will be saying a fond farewell to Mrs Brown at the end of the summer term, therefore the Governing body have been holding a selection process to recruit a new permanent Headteacher for Honiton Primary School from September 2018. The rigorous selection process took part over two days where the candidates were tested through a variety of activities involving the children and staff in addition to two formal interviews.

On behalf of the Governors I am delighted to announce that by a unanimous agreement, Mr Christopher Tribble will be the new Headteacher of Honiton Primary School. Mr Tribble is currently the Deputy Headteacher at Hazeldown school and will be spending time at Honiton Primary with Mrs Brown and Ms Rousseau leading up to the end of the term to ensure a smooth transition.

The Governors would like to thank the staff and all of the children who participated in the interview process.
