At Honiton Primary School we have an amazing resource on site...The Woods! Our visits to our wonderful woods offer so many learning opportunities to our children. Not only do they develop their physical skills as they balance, climb, pull themselves up and scamble through, they also build up vocabulary skills as they 'clamber' run 'up and down' balance on the 'zig zag' planks! In addition mathematical skills such as counting tyres, noticing shapes and patterns are developed,  and of course they can experience the great outdoors and all the wonderful things such as moss and bird song! What a wonderful morning. 😊
