On Friday afternoon the nursery and reception children were lucky enough to have our head teacher Mr Tribble come and talk to us about his very special role as a 4 x 4 emergency responder. Mr Tribble told us all about how he helps to rescue people when they are stuck or in trouble and how he supported the emergency services when the 'Beast from the East' hit  Devon last year. He was given an award for making sure the police and doctors and nurses safely got to work. He showed us some of the equipment he uses to help others and explained how it gets put to good use.
