A big part of our EYFS curriculum is concerned with our wonderful world. This week, using the non-fiction text, The Emperor’s Egg, we have been exploring the lesser-known continent of Antarctica. Using books, educational TV, maps and Google Earth we are able to get a real feel for this environment from the warmth of our classroom! We also compared a penguin’s environment to our local environment in Honiton. We listed many differences!
