One of the biggest parts of our EYFS curriculum is equipping our children with the skills to play kindly and fairly, listening to each other and taking turns. I watched these children building a  bridge (working together to discuss the best way to develop the structure) sharing in the joy of the team effort and trying it our with the cars and trains once they were happy with it! Only at that point did I give them each a secret ‘bridge code’ word that they had to read.
