In Reception one way we apply the skills that we have been taught is through ‘Projects’. Project time is reserved for some afternoons during the week. During this time children are encouraged to use their personal interests to generate work in the following four areas: drawing, labelling, building and modelling. We are so proud of our children’s efforts during Project Time. Here is Balthazar’s project on ‘Ghostbusters’! He made a model of the Ghostbusters spaceship that catches the ghosts. He drew a ghost so the Ghostbusters knew what to look out for! He wrote two sentences describing his project and he built a blaster using cubes (he also counted how many cubes he had used and wrote a number label)
