Yesterday, Reception were learning about why some people celebrate pancake day. We learnt that the Christians call it Shrove Tuesday and that they use up ingredients like flour, eggs and milk to give up for Lent. 

We really enjoyed making the mixture and tasting the pancakes, adding on our own toppings! 

Today, we have began to write our own instructions for how to make pancakes.
