This week, in Reception, we shall be focusing on our PSHE/RSE work on staying safe and healthy relationships. We use the NSPCC materials to teach the children about PANTS. PANTS is a bank of lessons that focuses on our privates being private, no means no and talking to grown-ups if we are feeling scared or upset. Although different to our normal sessions, the children were brilliant today. They talked with an honesty and maturity well beyond their young years. We are really looking forward to the other planned sessions this week.
