In the EYFS we lay the foundations for future learning. A big part of maths is working with different numbers and mathematical operations as you get older. This idea of ‘difference’ begins with young children understanding that objects can be placed into groups using different criteria, for example colour and size. As always, we are really impressed with the children’s application of the skills we are teaching.
