Year 1 had a great afternoon trying to save the superheroes from the ice. Mr Freeze had frozen them so we investigated what would help melt the ice the quickest. We found that the warm water melted the ice the quickest and surprisingly the sugar was the second quickest! The children had lots of interesting ideas about why that was and even asked why we don't use water on the playground instead of salt. Why do you think we don't?
