Hi everybody! 

I just wanted to recommend a website for supporting phonics skills at home. It is called 'Teach my monster to read' and is matched to the scheme we use to teach phonics and early reading at HPS. It is completely free! You just set up a login and can then login to play when you have time. It gives the children games and challenges and helps them to practise the key skills they need in each section. I have already recommended this to Reception parents however, it may also support children in year one and beyond with any phonics skills they that still need to practise.
