Not only did we have the best day reading for pleasure ourselves, listening to more of our fantastic new text in English, `Varjak Paw' by S F Said, and snuggling up to read with Miss Chiappe's Year 2 Class, we also had a visit from Neil Parish, our local MP. He told us his favourite book was `Lorna Doone' by R Blackmore because it was based on Exmoor, a place of which he is personally very fond. Thank you to all the volunteers in Year 5 who are now regularly coming in to share books with us. We love reading!
