Wow! What a busy day year 5 have had today.  We have based our learning around Katherine Rundell’s book Skysteppers.  We thought about what the view would be like from the rooftops of Paris! We turned this into our own rooftop artwork and included our favourite book character.  We then broadened our learning during PE thinking about the dangers of walking along the rooftops, what could be see? What could we hear? What could we smell? This afternoon we used this knowledge to write poetry and short stories.
