On Monday, Year One began their new SOLE project 'Enchanted Woodland'.

That afternoon, they received a radio call to inform them that something magical had happened in their school woods at lunchtime and they must go and find out what it was. To the children's delight, they discovered a miniature key, fairy doors, bottles of fairy dust and lots of gems scattered around which could only mean that the fairies had been to visit!! The children had a fantastic time exploring the areas and using their imaginations to predict what the visitors might have looked like or what might have been hiding behind the doors.
