Year 1 have recently started to play Rocketball and they have taken to it brilliantly! Mr Watsons been massively impressed with how the children have taken on various different rules, skills and challenges. Over the past weeks the children have practiced picking the ball up from ground without using hands or feet as well as throwing to themselves as well as a team mate showing some fabulous catching! They even managed to take a defender on today!
The children have really enjoyed their PE this year and we all feel confident that they can all take their skills learnt, practiced, progressed and developed into year 2!
