Year 1 had a brilliant day celebrating books and book characters. We got to parade around the school showing others our costumes. We also watched some videos of Julia Donalson and Axel Sheffler and what they do as authors and illustrators. We then had a go at being illustrators ourselves and followed along a step by step video to draw our own Gruaffalos!
