Last week, Year 2 embarked on writing their own version of the story “The Mouse and the Elephant”.  All of the adults were super impressed with the focus and concentration around the rooms and how dedicated and engaged they were with their learning.

All were showing perseverance with their spelling, using the Grow the Code sound chart as well as re-reading their writing back to check it made sense and that they had punctuated it correctly.

We will carry on with their stories - We can’t wait to see what happens next!
