This term all year groups will be looking at Athletics. We have sports day to look forward to, so the children will be practicing over the next few weeks in preparation. It was year 2’s turn today. This afternoons lession was all about running and sprinting. The children enjoyed some fun running activities, ask them about Fox’s  and Farmers and Jungle Run? They really enjoyed Rats and Rabbits, it was great to see their reaction time to the start of the games, very much like the start of a race but more importantly the fun and smiles on their races whilst simply running. Also the year 2’s have their intra class mini Olympics to look forward to before the end of the year.
