We have been learning how to use subordinating conjunctions to join a main clause with a subordinate clause. We loved collaborating with our friends to match the clauses with one another, working out which way round made sense and then adding in the correct punctuation. We learnt that ‘if’ and ‘when’ could be used both at the beginning of the sentence and in the middle of the two clauses.
