Year 2 had a brilliant day launching our new topic, 'Towers, Tunnels and Turrets'! We loved seeing the children arriving in their costumes - knights, kings, princesses, Robin Hoods and maids! To start our topic, we shared all of our brilliant home learning topics with each other. We have had such a wonderful variety of home learning from large 3D castles to fact files and diagrams. In school we also designed and made swords, hats and shields, complete with emblems and embellishments. In the afternoon, we wrote a detailed recount of our day.
