Year 2- Wondrous Wildlife
We have had a great day in year 2 today by starting our new topic, Wondrous Wildlife. We spent the morning down in our school woods and exploring the grounds looking for minibeasts. We learnt how to use a tally to record how many of each creature we found. We later used the Chromebooks to create a pictogram displaying our results.
We got stuck into our SOLE afternoon by organising our learning to complete the different learning challenges set. We learnt how to make a map of the school as well as recognising key landmarks in our school from an aerial photo. We even practised our pencil skills by developing our use of shape, space and line.
We will continue completing these learning challenges through our SOLE lessons this week!
