Year 3 Colourful Semantics

We have been developing our understanding of instructions in our English sequence over the last couple of weeks. We first made jam sandwiches as you saw and we are building up to making our own fruit salad or fruit kebab. We cannot wait to show off what we have learnt in our Big Write at the end of the week. 


We used colourful semantics to help improve our clear steps to include time adverbs (pink), adverbs (light blue), nouns (green) and imperative verbs (yellow).
