Today, year 3 investigated shadows! Unfortunately, the sun only wanted to help us out this morning when we drew around our shadows on the playground. This afternoon, our shadows had vanished but we still managed to learn about the sun's role in creating them. We also learnt some new words: opaque, translucent and transparent. I wonder if the Year 3s can explain about shadows to you at home?
