This half term year 3 looked at Tag Rugby and striking and fielding sports within their PE lessons. Mr Watson challenged their tag rugby skills, playing games that involved tagging, throwing and catching. Rats versus Rabbits was hugely popular as well as the activities that allowed the children to showcase their ball handling skills. 

They also looked at sports that involve striking a fielding. The children were set lots of skill based games that meant they had to persevere and develop their ability to throw to a target using correct techniques and well as correct position of body and hands to improve chances of catching a ball. They were given lots of opportunity to practice striking a small ball and putting all elements into a game. Check out the pictures.
