This afternoon, Year 3 have been creating beautiful urban sunset skylines using oil pastels. This was one of the first times the children have used pastels and it was definitely a learning experience!

They learnt the need to press hard so that they could blend the colours better, as well as the importance to ensure they went the same direction with their strokes.  Next, they had to then create the urban skyline by drawing their building roof lines and then cut out the top bit. Again, this was something that was tricky, but we got there in the end with use of our growth guide skill of perseverance.
