Over lockdown, Honiton Primary School had a delivery of a new class set of shiny, chromebooks! Today, we spent some time exploring google docs to learn how to create a food chain by inserting images from the web, creating shapes and inserting them to the document, as well as exploring how we could type and format what we wrote! Not only did they learn those skills, but also some shortcut keyboard commands and how to use the touchpad.  

For most of the class it was the first time not using technology to play games so many of the children found it incredibly frustrating. It was however great to see them helping one another and showing a growth mindset.  Next week we will definitely have their finished document printed to add to their collection of SOLE learning.
