Today we have been busy recognising the value of digits in numbers and recognising a representation of number. We did it in a fun way though, and got to play a game called ‘Place Value Basketball’ from TopMarks on the ipads. This made our learning fun and we were quickly embedding our understanding and becoming experts!  Some of us also got to play Hit the Button to practise our number-bonds too. Definitely games to play at home!!

We followed this with being feature detectives by finding the features of instructions within different texts. We remembered a lot from Year 2 and were able to recall some of them which was brilliant! Next week, we are going to be writing our own instructions on how to make a tinfoil man.
