This week, there was magic in the air, or rather in the playground, as our fabulous Year 4 pupils performed their own sea creature poems to the entire year group on the outdoor stage. Our special guests were Mr Tribble and Mrs Nicholas. The children were all very excited, and some a little nervous but their performance and poetry reading skills were so confident, we were incredibly  proud. As they read, we could all hear their writing skills being applied  to their poems, with imaginative similes, alliterations, expanded noun phrases, repetition and metaphors. Mr Tribble and Mrs Nicolas declared they were all winners! Congratulations Year 4!
