Some children in Year 4 have been busy writing lovely letters of hope and encouragement to residents of care homes that have been isolating for over 8 weeks.  It really warms my heart to see that pupils of HPS really care about the community and those who could be feeling a little lonely during this time.  

One boy's younger sister joined in with creating a lovely painting for them to put up on the wall whilst another child in Year 4 sent letters to people from their congregation telling them what she had been getting up to with her family.  She also referred to her bible and gave encouraging quotes of reassurance knowing that it would comfort them.

It is so lovely to see the compassion shown.  I am one proud teacher!
