Year 4 were getting creative with our local gallery

This afternoon, Year 4 pupils experienced a photography and stitching workshop hosted by the Creative Cabin, from  Honiton’s very own Thelma Hubert Gallery. On this beautiful, sunny day, the children learnt how to use special photographic paper, lace, leaves and flowers to create photographic images. Working outside was such a treat. Everyone was then taught a range of stitches, from running stitch, blanket stitch to cross stitch with which to decorate their mini frames for the photographs. Take a look at these pictures to see how much we learnt. It was a really fun session. Thank you Anna and Nicky.
