Some of the year groups have been looking at the game of volleyball this term. The children have been working incredibly hard to get to grips with a new sport, as well as it's skills and rules to be able to take part in a class tournament against each other today. They used the practices set over the past weeks to showcase all that has been learnt. Shots such as the 'Dig' 'Set' 'Serve' and 'Spike' have been perfected as well as showing attacking and defensive awareness, body position and sequences. A lot of fun has been had with some of Mr Watson games on the way. Ask the children about elephant football. Brilliant effort year 5!
