Using all of the new knowledge that we have gained about how our blood flows through our heart, our challenge was to create a 3-D sculpture showing a blood cell’s journey. We rolled, pinched, squeezed and shaped clay to represent the anatomy of the heart. How well can you identify the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood? How many different scientific labels can you match?
