Year 6 - HMS Chocolate Beagle and air resistance

In year six, the first Darwin‘s Delights home learning is starting to appear for our next topic.

Please keep this rolling in as all will be display and celebrated ... except thIs one! Today’s first offering was a chocolate reincarnation of Charles Darwin‘s famous ship the Beagle.

Meanwhile, we planned a science investigation looking at the forces of gravity and air resistance on a Spitfire wing. Pupils began to make predictions about whether or not a larger wing surface area would cause the plane to fly a greater or a lesser distance.
