Year 6 Youth Speaks success

Three of our Year 6 students have been working hard for a number of weeks in preparation for a public speaking competition against schools from the local learning community. 

The quality of the language and research - as well as the delivery of the speech was nothing short of admirable. The topic of the speech was the ‘Unjust Distribution of Wealth in the World’. A challenging subject and very much a pressing issue of our times. Yet, this is also a sign of how our pupils challenge themselves to become World Ready Citizens. 

The team performed wonderfully on the day and as such were a close runner up to the top spot when the judges made their final decision .
