  • Nursery- exploring past and present and traditional tales.

    Fri 21 May 2021

This week the children compared the past and present playing with some very old toys. They compared present toy cars with past toy cars and explored the different types of toys children played with in the past.

The children also continued to enjoy our focus on traditional tales and during our adult input built the 3 little pigs strong houses made from duplo bricks. There was no chance of the big bad wolf being able to blow those houses down!

  • Year 3 - Warlocks Celebrate! 🎉

Fri 21 May 2021 Miss McManus

    Woohoo!

What a celebration today! Three young people have worked so hard this week and proved how much of a superstar they are! We’ve seen better focus, improved presentation and better learning attitudes too. We can’t forget the young lady who also displayed some fabulous learning behaviours linked to our growth guide by making links in her learning.

The thing that made me the happiest however was seeing so many people reach the finish line for reading at least 5 times at home this week. Can we have everyone making it there next week!

Remember, reading is the most important skill to have as it opens up the world to you so let’s get reading and all make it to the finish line!

  • Year 3 - Making our own presentations!

Fri 21 May 2021 Miss McManus

This afternoon, Year 3 used the chromebooks to create their very own presentation about Ancient Greece.  The explored google slides and learnt how to make new slides, change the colour background, add text and change its colour font and size, insert pictures from the internet as well as use the explore feature to find information related to what they were doing.

They quickly learnt different keyboard commands include ctrl c to copy and ctrl v to paste.

There best friend however was....... Ctrl Z = UNDO!!  This became a lifesaver or work saver!

Have a look at us in action!

  • Year 2 - To Float or Sink? That is the question!

    Fri 21 May 2021
